Dhanbad, Oct 28: Trains movement of trains on the up and down line on Grand Chord tracks continue to be paralyzed even after 60 hours of goods trains derailment near Gurupa railway station of Gomoh – Gaya rail section under the Dhanbad Rail Division on Friday.
The senior official of Dhanbad Rail Division said that following the derailment of goods train wagons one passenger train has been cancelled while ten express trains have been diverted through other routes.
On October 26 at around 6:16 AM, 53 wagons of a coal-laden goods train derailed near Gurupa railway station paralysing movement on the up and down line completely. Despite rescue operations on a war footing by railway, the movement on track had not been restored till 11 am on Friday forcing the authorities to cancel and diverted the trains.
Railway official said train no 13554 Banaras- Asansol MEMU Express has been cancelled today (October 28).
Diversion of Up line trains
Besides it, seven trains of Grand Chord line have been diverted today. They are train no 18626 Hatia- Purnia Court will run via Chandrapura- Katrasgarh- Dhanbad- Pradhankhanta- Jha Jha- Kiul. Train no. 12801 Puri – New Delhi Purushottam Express will run via Rajbera- Bhandarida- Barkakana today ( October 28). Train no. 12353 Howrah- Lal Kuan Express will run via Asansol- Jha Jha Patna – Pt Deendayal Upadhyay railway stations.
Diversion of Down line trains
Train no. 12365 Patna- Ranchi will run today via Gaya- Dehri On-Sone Garhwa –Tori railway station.
Train no 12320 Agra Cantt- Kolkata Express will run via Pt Deendayal Upadhyay – Patna, Jha Jha – Asansol
Train no 12372 Bikaner- Howrah Express will run via pt Deendayal Upadhyay- Patna- Jha Jha – Asansol today.
Train no 12818 Anand Vihar- Hatia Express today will run via Pt Deendayal Upadhyay- Dehri –On Sone – Garhwa Road- Barkakana- Muri station. Train no. 12802 New Delhi- Puri Purushottam Express will run via Pt Deendayal Upadhyay.
