Bhopal, April 8: The station in charge of Kotwali Sidhi and a sub-inspector were suspended in relation to the matter a day after the terrible picture of Youtubers and journalists being stripped in a Madhya Pradesh police station went viral, according to ANI.

The suspension comes after the SHO gave shocking justification for the act and said that their clothes were taken off so that no one could commit suicide using their clothes.

On Thursday, photographs and videos of a group of half-naked men standing outside a police station in Madhya Pradesh went viral on social media, along with footage of a local YouTube journalist.

According to Sidhi Superintendent of Police Manoj Shrivastava, some persons were causing a commotion outside the police station in favour of an offender who had been arrested under the IT Act. Despite the police’s repeated attempts to calm them down, they began yelling anti-administration slogans.

Meanwhile, according to a local journalist, he was arrested along with others while going to the police station to inquire about Neeraj Kunder, a theatrical artist who was arrested for reportedly using harsh language towards a BJP legislator and his son.
