MANOJ SINHA

Ramgarh, Mar 21: Hazaribagh MP cum Chairman Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance Jayant Sinha met students and their families who returned from Ukraine to Hazaribagh on Monday.

The MP interacted with all these students and their families. Students shared their experiences and expressed their gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and MP Jayant Sinha for bringing them back to India from Ukraine.

The relatives told that when they approached their MP for help, he immediately took cognizance of it and started helping the children. They kept in constant touch with us and kept an eye on every move.

The MP said, “I stand with the people of Hazaribagh in every situation. The Modi government under the leadership of Prime Minister and External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar is committed to the safety of every Indian living abroad.”

Students including the ones from Hazaribagh who were stranded in Ukraine had contacted Jayant Sinha and sought help a few days back when the Russian invasion started there.

All of them had reached near the Poland border and wanted to cross it. Some of these students trapped in the cold places were deteriorating and did not even have shelter.

At that time, MP Jayant Sinha took quick cognizance of this serious matter and contacted the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian Embassy in Ukraine.

Acting quickly on this, the embassy helped the students and helped them to reach Poland. Jayant Sinha was in constant touch with the students and their families and was taking all necessary steps to help them. These tireless efforts of his got great success and all the students were brought back to India under ‘Operation Ganga’.
