Mumbai, Aug 20: A threat message warning of a terrorist assault similar to the one that occurred on 26/11 was delivered to the Mumbai Police traffic control WhatsApp number.

Six persons will carry out the plan in India, according to the threat letter, which was purportedly sent from a Pakistani phone number. The message’s author claimed that Pakistan can be used to pinpoint his current position.

The Mumbai Police have started an inquiry into the situation. The threat message has also been shared with other agencies, according to sources.

The claimed threat message assumes significance after a boat containing three AK-47 guns and ammunition was discovered Thursday off the coast of Raigad in Maharashtra.

Due to the discovery’s uncanny resemblance to the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001, the state had a fear scare. The terrorists who carried out the atrocities sneakily entered the nation on boats.

As soon as they arrived, local police officers and members of the Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) began investigating the boat’s provenance. A team from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) was also sent to the area.

The boat belonged to an Australian woman whose husband was its skipper, according to an investigation. According to Devendra Fadnavis, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, the ship was headed from Muscat to Europe in June when it wandered into bad weather. He stated that the Australian pair left it after experiencing engine issues.
