Ranchi, Aug 23: A team of NDRF has been deputed to fish out the body of one Mantu Swansi, who was pushed into the overflowing Harmu rivulet by his friend on August 14 following a dispute over snatching a Bluetooth device.
The NDRF police took Swansi’s friend, Sonu, who had pushed Swansi, to the spot. Sonu told NDRF team members where he had pushed Swansi in a fit of rage.
So far, the body has not been fished out. NDRF team members are searching for the body under the flowing water.
The situation arose after a missing case was reported at Argora police station after Swansi did not return home on August 14 and officials of Argora police station after a thorough investigation of the case could reach Sonu, who revealed to the police explaining how he pushed his friend who washed away with river current on the eve of Independence Day when it was raining cats and dogs.
