NEAT to provide 12 lakh free courses to poor students in India

Ranchi, Dec. 11: Poor students of the nation today got an opportunity to pave their path towards development. It came into being as National Education Alliance for Technology (NEAT) has launched education technology courses in pedagogy on a single platform for learner’s convenience.

A total of 12 lakh education technology free course coupons is expected to be distributed among the students from socially and economically disadvantaged students. The free coupons will be distributed through the NEAT portal.

Students can register themselves to avail the benefit on https://https://neat.aicte-india.org/register from Dec 11 till Dec 17 by providing information such as College name, admission number and personal details.

The NEAT portal has launched a total of 79 products in collaboration with 48 Ed-tech companies. In addition technology courses use artificial intelligence for customized learning and e-content in niche areas with highly employable skills.

NEAT aims to provide a future-ready learning platform, skill-based learning tool, personalized learning environment and improved learning outcomes for better employability.

NEAT, a public-private partnership model between the Indian government and education technology companies, focuses on measuring and implementing advantages for children from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds.

It also deals with various government programs, such as the introduction of internship policy, the internship platform and related issues. NEAT is a crucial step in implementing the future of online learning since Covid-19, which is also the first step in the adoption of the National Education Strategy 2020.
