New Delhi, May 29: Tara Air’s 9 NAET twin-engine aircraft, carrying 19 people and travelling from Pokhara to Jomsom at 9.55 am on Sunday has lost contact.
The missing plane was carrying four Indians and three Japanese nationals. The remaining passengers were Nepalese citizens, and the plane had 22 people on board, including the crew, according to State Television.
“The aircraft was seen over the sky of Jomsom in Mustang district and then had diverted to Mt. Dhaulagiri after which it hadn’t come into contact,” said Chief District Officer Netra Prasad Sharma to ANI.
