Ujjain, June 2: Hours after touching down in Madhya Pradesh for a two-day visit, Nepal Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal “Prachanda” on Friday offered prayers at the revered Mahakaleshwar temple in the city of Ujjain.

The Nepal Prime Minister was welcomed to the Mahakaleshwar temple, one of the 12 “jyotirlingas” in the nation, by Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel and state ministers Mohan Yadav and Jagdish Devda.

Flowers were used to embellish the temple, especially its Nandi Hall and sanctum sanctorum. To greet the Nepal Prime Minister and his delegation, a red carpet was spread across the temple grounds. Conch shells were blown by priests to greet visitors from the adjoining nation.
