Ranchi: Newly appointed Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rakesh Ranjan paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday at the CM’s residential office on Kanke Road. City SP Paras Rana and Traffic SP Rakesh Singh also met the Chief Minister during the interaction.
Courtesy Meeting After Posting
The meeting was a formal courtesy call following Rakesh Ranjan’s posting as Ranchi SSP. Prior to this, he served as Superintendent of Police in Chaibasa.
Recent Transfers in State Police
On September 19, the Jharkhand government reshuffled several IPS officers across the state, after which Rakesh Ranjan was assigned charge as Ranchi’s new SSP.
