Ranchi, July 15: The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings for higher education institutions across the nation have been released by the Union Ministry of Education on Friday.
IIT Madras continues to be the top-ranking institution in the overall category, followed by IIT Delhi. As for the university category, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, took the top spot.
Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, Jharkhand, is placed 38 this year, down from 26 in 2021, in the overall top category.
In terms of top engineering schools, IIT Dhanbad (ISM) secured the 14th position this year. It was at number 11 in 2021.
Among the top management institute’s rankings, the Xavier Labor Relations Institute (XLRI) Jamshedpur came in at number eight this year. The institute had the same ranking in 2021.
IIM Ranchi, Jharkhand, placed 15th this year, whereas the institution’s position in 2021 was 21.
In the NIRF Pharmacy category, BIT Ranchi is ranked 35th, up from 26th place in 2021.
Institutions from Jharkhand Under the Law category, National University of Study & Research in Law, Ranchi, Jharkhand, is ranked number 22 in the country for law in the India Ranking 2022.
