Patna, Aug 28: Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, stated on Monday his position on whether he would take the position of national convener of the INDIA alliance if it were offered. “I don’t want to be anything,” he said.
He continued by saying that he has no desire to do so and that his only goal is to bring all political parties together in front of the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024.
“I don’t want to become anything. I have been telling you this again and again. I have no such desire. I just want to unite everyone”, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar said when asked if he would take the position of convener if one were offered.
When questioned about the INDIA Coalition meeting in Mumbai and Nitish Kumar being named the national convener of the INDIA bloc, Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav responded that all parties are collaborating and there would be discussions on the subject. Parties can participate, and any decision reached collectively will be agreeable to all.
On August 31 and September 1, the INDIA alliance meeting will take place in Mumbai. The INDIA bloc’s logo is also anticipated to be introduced at the upcoming conference.
