Ranchi, Feb.3: The Jharkhand High Court has directed not to take any coercive action against the accused of hatching conspiracy against the Hemant Soren government in Jharkhand.
The direction came during the hearing of the anticipatory bail petition of the accused Ravi Kejriwal.
During the hearing, the state government requested the court to give time to file the affidavit in the court, which has been accepted and while giving four weeks time directed not to take any coercive action during that period.
The matter was heard in the court of Justice Anil Kumar Choudhary. On behalf of the applicant, former Advocate General and senior advocates of Jharkhand High Court Ajit Kumar, Aparajita Bhardwaj and Kumari Sugandha appeared.
Kejriwal and others are accused of conspiring to topple the current Hemant government of Jharkhand. In this case, Ranchi Police had arrested three from a city hotel in Ranchi.
