PRINCE KUMAR

Ranchi, Dec 5: BJP MLA CP Singh alleged the Jharkhand government for not doing any developmental work in the state. He stated during a press conference at the state BJP headquarters that the BJP with the cooperation of the people will force the government to work for the development of the state.

“The government is celebrating its two years of failures by listing the accomplishments of the previous BJP administration. This government is not even repairing the damaged roads that were created during the previous government’s reign, and the people of the state are now regretting their decision to hand over power to this government,” Singh said.

The MLA said that the previous BJP government did a lot of work for the development of cities. In 2014, when the BJP government was formed, the budget of the urban development department was Rs 2,700 crore, whereas the budget of the department was only Rs 900 crore in Hemant Soren’s government.

“The previous government increased the budget of the Urban Development Department and provided pure drinking water, good roads, drains, parks and other facilities to the people, while this government only cries for empty treasury instead of working,” Singh added.

“Ever since this government came into power, it is only crying for empty treasury and Covid-19 whereas work has been done in other parts of the country during the same corona phase. Within these two years, the expressway in UP was completed and inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whereas work on metro rail in Kanpur started in 2019 which was completed in the span of two years,” Singh further added.
