Dhanbad Nov 17: The Deoghar district administration has banned the entry of people without Covid vaccination in the collectorate premises from Wednesday.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Manjunath Bhajantri today said that in the wake of infection spreading in the district, the decision has been taken to protect the people from Covid. Now no one would be allowed to enter who has not taken even a single dose.
Deoghar is the first district in the state to have imposed ban on entry in collectorate premises who has not taken even a single dose. The district administration has sounded high alert after death of a Madhupur block Covid patient at Sadar hospital.
Official sources said Madhupur resident had not taken  even a single dose of vaccine.
“ The danger of infection has not cleared completely. Covid cases have increased all time high in  three months in the district. So I have requested  people to take the vaccine and encourage family members for protection of infection,” said Bhajantri.
In the wake of spreading infection ratio, the DC has also directed concerned  health department officials to ensure 100% vaccination of people and implementation of Covid protocol. Sources in health department  said arrival of outsiders in Baba Dham has increased the cases in the district.
