Ranchi, Jan.18: There will be no tableau of Jharkhand in the Republic Day parade in New Delhi.
The situation came after the tableau on the theme of Santhal Hul was disqualified in the second stage.
Director of public relation department Rajeev Lochan Bakshi informed this.
Assistant director Avinash Kumar said that selection of tableau is finalized in six stages starting from concept notes followed by 3D presentation, examination of models besides others.
“A team of the ministry of defence selects the tableau and every year hardly 13 to 14 tableaus are given opportunity to participate in the parade,” Kumar said.
