Ranchi/Bokaro: In a telling sign of fear and detachment, no family member turned up to claim the bodies of eight slain Naxals, including ₹1 crore bounty commander Prayag Manjhi, who were killed in a major encounter on Lugu Pahad in Bokaro on Monday. The postmortem was conducted on Tuesday morning under tight security at Chas Sub-Divisional Hospital by a four-member medical board.
Two Women, Six Men Killed — But No One Came
Despite being from nearby districts, none of the families of the deceased Naxals came forward to receive their bodies, indicating a strong sense of fear or complete severance from the outlawed individuals.
