New Delhi, Dec 12: Nora Fatehi has filed a defamation suit against Jacqueline Fernandez, alleging that Jacqueline Fernandez made ‘defamatory imputations against her due to malicious reasons.’
“Jacqueline Fernandes sought to criminally defame the complainant in order to destroy her career to further her own interests, since they are both working in the same industry and have similar backgrounds, amongst other reasons,” Nora Fatehi said in her plea.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioned Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi in relation to a money laundering case brought against con man Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
Actress Nora Fatehi denied all claims and maintained she was unrelated to the incident. She insisted that Lena Maria Paul, Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s wife, was the only one she had direct touch with. Further, the actor denied accepting any presents from the con artist.
