Dhanbad, July 21: Six trains, including the Rourkela- Jayanagar Express which is considered a lifeline for north Bihar passengers have been rescheduled from tomorrow following the track doubling work between Kishunpur- Rambhadrapur railway stations under the Samastipur Division of the East Central Railway.
A Dhanbad Rail Divisional official today said that Rourkela- Jayanagar ( Madhubani) Express train would go till Barauni Junction on July 22 and July 25. Similarly, the train would start from Barauni on July 23 and July 25 for Rourkela.
Rourkela-Jayanagar Express train is the lone direct train for north Bihar for the people of Ranchi, Bokaro, Dhanbad and other districts. The train runs three days a week.
A divisional railway official said besides it, the route of the Raxaul-Secunderabad Special train has been diverted due to the conversion of a double line. On July 23 Raxaul–Hyderabad Express would run via Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur and Samastipur.
On July 25, the Raxaul-Secunderabad Special train would run via Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur and Samastipur. On July 22, Secunderabad- Darbhanga Express too would run via Samastipur, Muzaffarpur and Sitamarhi.
