New Delhi, Jan 28: Akhilesh Yadav said on Friday that his chopper was briefly blocked from flying from Delhi to Muzaffarnagar, claiming that he was “losing BJP’s scheme.”

He tweeted an update with a dig about half an hour after blaming the ruling party of blocking his chopper: “We are ready to take the flight to triumph.”

“My helicopter has been halted in Delhi without any reason. It is not being allowed to fly to Muzaffarnagar (in UP). But a BJP leader was just allowed to fly from here. This is losing BJP’s conspiracy – a proof of their frustration,” Akhilesh Yadav tweeted in Hindi.

The accusation was made just days before the state’s seven-phased elections, which begin on February 10. Akhilesh will contest the election from Karhal constituency in Mainpuri district. Voting in Karhal is scheduled for February 20.
