Ranchi, April 27: In view of the possible threat of corona infection increasing again in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with the Chief Ministers of many states on Wednesday where Health Minister Banna Gupta represented Jharkhand in the meeting.
After the meeting, Banna Gupta said that once again step-motherly treatment has been done with Jharkhand. He raised his hand many times to speak in the interest of Jharkhand, but he was not allowed to speak. The Health Minister said that this meeting was purely a political meeting. In this, an attempt was made to explain the rising inflation and the prices of petrol and diesel.
Gupta said, “The seriousness for which this meeting was called today, there was very little discussion on it. In the meeting, only 40 percent of the health talks took place. At the same time, 60 percent of the talk happened on petrol-diesel. In the meeting, the PM said that Omicron has come in many countries in the world. India has won the third phase of the pandemic. In the fourth phase, we have to be very diligent. In such a situation, we can say that the meeting has become a purely political meeting. It is known to all that the problem of Omicron has come to the fore at the global level. Its effect has also been shown in many states. But there was very little discussion on these issues in the meeting,”
He further said, “I tried several times to present the situation of the state to the Prime Minister. I raised my hand several times and asked for time to speak, but I was not even given a chance to speak. If I had got a chance to speak, I would have definitely said that the people of Jharkhand should be given booster dose for free. Also, the decision that has been taken to give vaccine to children of 6 to 12 years, should be initiated as soon as possible,”
The Health Minister once again reiterated that Jharkhand has always been treated step-motherly by the Centre. Like everything else, this time also Jharkhand was called in the meeting but this time also it was not allowed to speak.
