NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters holds elocution & quiz contests for students

Ranchi, Oct.29: As a part of ongoing observation of Vigilance Awareness Week at NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters from October 26 to November 1,  elocution & quiz competition were held in DPS School, Kairali School, Marwari school, Balika Shiksha Bhawan and Amity University, Ranchi to promote Vigilance Awareness Week among the youth.

 

On the occasion, pledges of integrity were administered among the participants.

 

This year the thrust has been on Public Interest Disclosure and Protection of Informer Resolution 2004 (PIDPI).

 

To make people aware of PIDPI, posters on the same were distributed among participants and slogans on preventive vigilance were displayed by the participants to highlight the importance of integrity in students’ lives. A Vigilance study circle was also formed in Marwari School and Balika Shiksha Bhawan.

 

Around 500 participants with full enthusiasm took part in the competitions. The competitions were organized under the guidance of faculties of the respective institutes, Tanmoy Dutta, DGM(HR) represented NTPC for organizing the competitions.
