Raj Yoga Kendra gives yoga tips to sportspersons in Ranchi

Ranchi, Oct.29: Sportspersons associated with Sports Authority of Jharkhand (SAJHA) were today given yoga tips to improve their stamina, confidence and concentration.

The programme was organized by Raj Yoga Centre to commemorate 75 years of Indian independence. It started at 6.30am and continued till 8am.

Those present as trainers included yoga experts Dr Archana Kumar, who imparted training in Asana (posture), pranayam, swasan, hasya, dhyan and mudra besides others.

The majority of the sportspeople were Kho Kho, Kabaddi and athletics while there was participation from other disciplines of sports also.

Those present as guests during the training included Dr Fajlus Shami, Dr Amrendra Kumar Pathak. Apart from this, in-charge officer of the Yoga Centra Dr Mukul Dixit, vice president of Indian Yoga Association, Dr Parinita Singh, Kho Kho coach Tapan Kumar Rawat, Kabaddi coach Harish Kumar Singh, athletics coach Raju Sahu besides others were also present.

Coaches expressed their pleasure after the programme saying corona has affected the mental and physical development of children and such yoga training will be of great help for them.
