Ranchi, June 4: Two PSUs, NTPC & MECON, have joined hands and collaborated to strengthen the mine infrastructure facilities, mine development and other associated infrastructure projects of NTPC Coal Mines.
In this regard, NTPC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with MECON, Ranchi on June 2 to utilise its expertise in the field of engineering consultancy services and project management services related to design, engineering, mining, infrastructure facilities, power supply and distribution facilities, mining plan, Feasibility Report (FR) /Detail Project Report (DPR) preparation/validation, and environmental compliances.
The MoU was signed by Partha Mazumder, Regional Executive Director (Coal Mining), NTPC and RK Verma, General Manager (Marketing), MECON in the presence of Sanjay Kumar Verma, Director (Commercial) & CMD designate, MECON and other senior officials from both the companies.
Partha Mazumder addressing the gathering shared that NTPC is looking forward to a productive association with MECON in times to come.
