Ranchi, Jan 27: One Kalu Lama died while two Raju Lama, Sohan Vishwakarma sustained injuries after four miscreants riding on two motorbikes opened more than six rounds of fire on a car passing through Morhabadi ground under Lalpur police station in the high security zone of Jharkhand capital.
The place of occurrence is close to the residences of JMM chief Shibu Soren, DC, SSP, State Guest House, Ranchi University PG department besides other prominent locations.
Senior police officers reached the spot for investigation. Primary information suggests victims have criminal background and thus possibility of some sort of gang war can not be ruled out.
