Ramgarh, July 2: Korra police in Hazaribagh district have arrested a youth who dragged a girl student in a car after she refused to be his girlfriend.
The accused has been identified as 23-year-old Mohan Prasad, son of Tilak Prasad who is a resident of Giridih. The victim of the young man’s coercion is an intermediate student who studies in Hazaribagh.
The family members of the girl student lodged an FIR in various sections including POSCO in Korra police station.
Police station in-charge Uttam Tiwari said that the boy had been following the girl for the last four days. The girl had informed about this to her family members.
The young man tried to pursue the girl and expressed his love but the girl scolded him. After this, the angry young man dragged the student inside his car and took her to Kanhari forest.
During this, the girl gave this information to her father who immediately informed this to the Korra police station. On the basis of the phone location, the youth was caught by the police from Kanhari forest.
The youth has been arrested and forwarded to judicial custody.
