New Delhi: The ongoing Budget Session has become a political battleground between the ruling NDA and the opposition INDIA alliance. Disruptions have gripped both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, with uproar over the US trade deal, former Army Chief Manoj Naravane’s book, and the Epstein files.

Rahul Gandhi Joins Protest Outside Parliament

On Monday, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi led a protest outside Parliament alongside six suspended MPs and other Congress leaders. The demonstration was aimed at Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. Priyanka Gandhi also participated, showing solidarity with the protesting members.

Priyanka Gandhi Writes to Speaker Amid Standoff

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, along with the suspended MPs, wrote a letter to Speaker Om Birla alleging that the chair was being pressured by the government to act in its favor. They appealed to the Speaker to maintain impartiality and uphold the dignity of the House, assuring full support from the opposition.

Opposition Walkout in Rajya Sabha

Chaos also prevailed in Rajya Sabha, where Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge was denied permission to speak during Question Hour. The move triggered outrage, prompting a walkout by opposition members.
