Orchid organises free gynaecology check-up camp on Mother’s Day

Ranchi, May 8: The Orchid Super Specialty Hospital organised a free Gynecology, Diet and Physiotherapy check-up camp on the occasion of Mother’s Day on Sunday. The purpose of this camp was to help women facing health issues with suggestions and to spread awareness regarding health issues faced by women.

Dr Nupur Singh (Ms(Obs & Gynae)) Gynecologist; Dietician Saroj Srivastava and Physiotherapist from Orchid Super Specialty Hospital talked to all the women and told them of the solutions to their problems. Free counselling was also provided at the camp. Apart from this, Dr Nupur Singh also gave some health tips to women to stay healthy on the occasion of Mother’s Day.

After counselling the people, dietician Dr Saroj conducted a quiz on a healthy diet and prizes were given to the winners. The efforts made by Orchid were appreciated by the women and they said that such a social initiative increases awareness among women about their health. A total of 70 women were tested and checked at the camp.

Orchid Hospital management further informed that the hospital also aims to provide low-cost ambulance services to the patients from the nearby areas of Ranchi to assist in the process of admission for treatment. Patients can get service in case of emergency by calling 9117100100.
