Ranchi, Aug 26: Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren on Friday presided over the meeting of the ruling party’s ministers and the legislature party at his residence in Ranchi amid reports of disqualification opinion from ECI.

After the meeting ended, Congress leader and Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta said, “Our coalition is standing strong. We will meet again in the evening today.”

Congress leader Alamgir Alam said that, “We have full trust in our MLAs, they all will remain in Ranchi.”

Earlier he said, “All is well. Our government is in majority. We will follow whatever our Congress President Sonia Gandhi will say.”

Prior to the meeting, Jharkhand Congress Working President Bandhu Tirkey said ,”Whatever decision JMM takes, as the major party of the alliance, Congress will support it. The top leadership of Congress has instructed us for the same.”
