Union is on boils over attack on power employee
Jharkhand Rajya Bijli Kamgar Union has taken serious note over the assault on a JBVNL staff at Daltonganj and has threatened to boycott raids and power line disconnection drives against consumers without a senior officer of the department.
“Defaulter consumers attacked a raid team in Daltonganj and broke the hand of a staff member when they were disconnecting the supply line on Saturday. So JRBKU has written a letter to all six Area Boards general managers of JBVNL to not send a staff team without an officer. Now, in near future if any staff of the raid party is assaulted, the concerned general manager would be held responsible,” said Ramkrishana Singh, general secretary of JRBKU.
