Beijing, Feb 22: In the Inner Mongolia region of northern China, a coal mine collapsed on Wednesday, trapping more than 50 people, according to state news agency Xinhua.
“The accident happened on Wednesday afternoon, and a preliminary investigation showed that more than 50 people were trapped under the mine”, Xinhua said.
“Three people had been lifted out, two of whom showed no vital signs,” it aded.
