Earlier, the government hospital premise used to be left out of the freebies in the winter. But DC Dodde and his team also made a reach out to the Medinirai medical college hospital in Daltonganj. The DC and his team gave away 10 blankets to the attendants of the indoor patients who spend the night sleeping and awake in partially closed spaces.

Apart from that, the poor who live and earn livelihoods by selling ‘daatun’ and other edible items at the railway station were also provided with blankets. Meanwhile, the needy have urged the DC to begin ‘dry wood burning’ (bonfires) at night at the railway station premise, auto rickshaw stand, bus stand, hospital etc.
