Daltonganj, Jan 16: Palamu administration has identified ‘red’ community health centres which have 40,000 plus vaccinations remain undone.

DC Palamu Shashi Ranjan on Saturday held an online review of such red community health centres which lag behind in the vaccination.

“Community health centre Bishrampur is to do more than 62,000 vaccinations to up its first dose vaccination which is pegged at 66.88 percent only,” said DC.

Hussainabad which has a sub divisional hospital despite achieving 74 percent of the first dose of the vaccination struggles now to locate and ready 51,000 eligibles for the vaccination. Paton community health centre is also to do 43,000 plus vaccinations.

Interestingly, everyone was most sceptical of Manatu community health centre for being a naxal turf in the past but now this Manatu has come as a black horse by achieving 77 percent of the first dose of the vaccination and is to do little over 19,000 vaccinations.

DC Palamu is of the view that this pendency of the vaccination is tagged to the huge bulk of workers who have migrated from here. The state government portal itself records around 1.75 lakh of migrant workers in Palamu.
