Daltonganj, Dec 23: Online classes of the maiden session have begun at Government Engineering College at Basoura under Nilamber Pitamberpur block.
According to Dr Sanjay Kumar Singh, the principal in charge, two professors of BIT Sindri are holding online classes for the basics of electrical engineering and engineering graphics and design for the 195 admitted students. There are around 30 girls pursuing courses in engineering here, as per the principal in charge.
As regards the brushing up of two other subjects physics and mathematics, a local online teaching arrangement has been done.
Sources said the electrical installations are to provide HT 3 phase to this college where there are already two 500 KV transformers fixed.
