Palamu medical college gets MARB nod for admission in session 2022-23

Daltonganj, Oct 9: The Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) of the National Medical Commission (NMC)  has granted ‘renewal of permission for admission’ for 100 students in the MBBS courses for the academic year 2022-23 in the Medinirai medical college at Pokhraha.

President of the MARB has sent this letter for permission for admissions in the academic year 2022-23 in the college stating therein that this renewal is accorded on the basis of the affidavit given by the college concerned.

The MARB has also sent a copy of this letter to the secretary of the Jharkhand state health department; director of medical education; registrar NPU; secretary of Ministry of Health, Government of India; ADG (Medical Education) directorate, health services, Government of India among others.

The MARB has instructed the medical college management to abide by the rules and regulations of the NMC Act. In case of any violation in terms of the admission in the year 2022-23, it will be considered an irregularity and the NMC will then proceed as per the rules and regulations.

Acting principal, Medinirai medical college Dr R D Nagesh said, “We are happy to have this renewal of permission for admission in the academic year 2022-23.”
