Ranchi, 18 Sept: A person’s body was found hanging on a tree by Ratu police on Friday. Police said that it is a sure case of murder as the way the body was hanged could not be a suicide attempt. However, no injury marks on the body were reported by them.
Police have identified the person as Harsh Singh whose age is around 22 to 24 years. They are awaiting the results of the postmortem after the body was sent to RIMS for autopsy.
Harsh belonged to Palamu district, but stayed in the Kamre region with his parents which come under the Ratu police station. According to the locals, he recently came back from Delhi.
Police are looking into the call records of the person as he was reported to be talking till late night after which he went missing on Friday.
