Bengaluru: The grieving parents of Renukaswamy, a 33-year-old who was allegedly tortured and murdered by actor Darshan and his associates, are now grappling with the horror of seeing photos that depict the brutal torture their son endured. According to the Karnataka Police chargesheet, Renukaswamy was subjected to inhumane treatment, including electric shocks to his private parts. These images were reportedly recovered from the phone of one of Darshan’s aides and have now surfaced, adding to the family’s anguish.

One of the images shows Renukaswamy sitting shirtless on the ground, crying in front of parked trucks. Another shows him unconscious, dressed in a vest and blue jeans, lying in front of a truck.

Renukaswamy, who was reportedly a fan of Darshan, was allegedly killed after he sent obscene photos to the actor’s friend, Pavithra Gowda, who is also involved in the film industry.

While Renukaswamy’s mother was unable to look at the heartbreaking photos, his father expressed their deep pain and desire for justice. “We are washing our hands with our tears,” he said, “and we want those responsible for our son’s murder to face the same pain he endured.”

“No Mercy, No Humanity”

Renukaswamy’s father, Kashinath Shivanagoudar, recounted the unimaginable torture his son suffered. “Despite my son’s constant pleas and admitting his mistake, they showed no mercy and tortured him so brutally. They gave him shocks and tortured every part of his body. Imagine the pain he must have experienced. It causes us immense pain just thinking about it.”

Shivanagoudar added, “Seeing these images has caused intolerable pain. I hope the court awards the maximum punishment to the perpetrators, and they face the same fate my son went through.”

Mother’s Anguish and Call for Justice

Overcome with sorrow and anger, Renukaswamy’s mother expressed her distress, saying her daughter tried to show her the photos, but she didn’t have the strength to look at them. She also cursed Pavithra Gowda, saying, “If she was behind my son’s murder, she should meet the same fate.”

“I didn’t see the viral photos. My daughter tried to show them to me, but I don’t have the patience or strength to see them. Despite his constant pleas, they beat him up so badly. Are they even human?” she asked.

The chargesheet revealed that Renukaswamy was kidnapped and assaulted in a shed, where he was given electric shocks to his private parts, leading to severe injuries. It also noted that he sustained multiple fractures and had 39 injury marks all over his body, including a deep cut on his head.

The family is now calling for the maximum possible punishment for those responsible for their son’s brutal death, as the investigation continues.
