Ranchi, Aug.6: Parliamentary ethics committee chairman Vinod Kumar Sonkar will inaugurate a training programme of the health volunteers of the BJP on August 9 at the BJP state headquarters.

State BJP vice president and former MLA of Mandar, Gangotri Kujur, informed this at a press conference saying the programme is a part of the National Health Volunteer Campaign, which the BJP has started in the wake of the third wave of corona pandemic.

“During two waves of the pandemic, the requirement of health volunteers was experienced to create awareness among people regarding Covid-19 and steps required to put a check on it. He said during the training, volunteers will be made aware of Covid appropriate behaviours and necessary medicines that can help save the Covid-19 patients.  Apart from this, they will also be made aware of vaccination programmes under which 50crore have been vaccinated so far.

“Each of the 32623 villages of the state will be visited by volunteers under the campaign and no stone will be left unturned to create awareness among common people to fight Covid,” Dr Kumar, who also informed about homeopathic medicine in the press conference, said.
