Jamshedpur, Feb 17: Jharkhand would witness a partly cloudy sky in the South-east and northeast parts, said a forecast issued by IMD’s Ranchi Met Centre today.
While the mainly clear sky is expected in the remaining parts of the state.
Weathermen said a cyclonic circulation over Tripura and its neighbourhood was today lying over East Bangladesh and its neighbourhood extending up to 3.1 Km above the mean sea level.
Mainly light easterly wind was prevailing at lower levels across the state.
According to the weatherman, the easterly wind pattern would result in moisture incursion into the atmosphere. It will also help in the formation of clouds.
The minimum temperature across the state witnessed a rising trend during the past 24 hours.
Weatherman said the minimum temperature will continue to witness a gradual rise in the next 72 -hours.
