Patratu dam’s gate to be opened tonight as water level rises

Ramgarh, Aug 23: Two gates of the Patartu dam will be opened today at 8:00 pm due to an increase in the water level in the dam, according to information received by Patratu Thermal Power Station (PTPS) Asset Officer Suresh Prasad.

People are being made aware through different mediums about the situation. Ramgarh Deputy Commissioner Madhavi Mishra has appealed to the people not to go near other water sources including the Damodar river and make other people aware of it.

Along with this, she has directed the concerned officers to make people aware of their areas through various means.
