Ramgarh, Nov 8: A girl from Palu village under the Patratu police station area of Ramgarh district has accused a young man of sexually abusing her on the pretext of marriage. The victim has appealed to the women’s police station, Ramgarh to take appropriate action against the accused.
In her complaint, the girl revealed that when she was a minor, a youth named Sulendra Karmali misbehaved and raped her in her house. When she warned about complaining to the police, he silenced her by promising to marry her.
After this, Sulendra made physical relations with her in her home in Barghutwa and also in the forests of Benti. The girl also accused the young man of getting her pregnant and then feeding her an abortion pill. Later, he refused to marry her.
While giving the application, the girl said that only for the sake of dowry, the youth, Sulendra Karmali, his mother, brother Sikandar Karmali, and sister Sangeeta Kumari are refusing the wedding.
