Patratu: Unidentified body recovered from Nalkari river

Ramgarh: The body of a youth was recovered from the Nalkari river located at Hariharpur, Patratu in Ramgarh district on Friday.

Basal OP and Patratu police station was informed about the body by the local people. After which police reached the spot and took out the body from the river. The body has not been identified yet due to its bad condition.

Notably, 14 days ago, five people were washed away in the strong current of water in the Hariharpur Nalkari river.  Four bodies were recovered by the local police and NDRF team. But even after a lot of searching, the body of the fifth victim, Vivek Gaurav, could not be found.

People are now apprehensive that it might be the body of Vivek Gaurav.

Police of Basal OP called Vivek’s family members to identify the dead body. But they could not identify the decomposed body. According to the information, Vivek left the house wearing a T-shirt but the body is wearing a shirt.

Basal Police is engaged in the investigation of the case.  After identification of the body, it will be sent for postmortem.
