Nandghar Yatra started in the year 2015
NL Whyte of ESL Steel Limited said that our Nandghar Yatra began in the year 2015 with an aim to transform the lives of 8.5 crore children and 20 million women in 13.7 lakh Anganwadis in India. Today, I feel extremely proud to see that this vision of ours is being realized and making a difference in the lives of rural people. Said that this year ESL inaugurated 50 Nandghars in Bokaro. It was launched virtual by Chief Minister Hemant Soren. There are already about 2100 Nand Ghars in 10 states of India, while 4000 such structures have been planned across the country. These modern centers are bringing change in the rural areas.
