Ramgarh, Dec.3: Some people of Ramgarh set out in search of Ramgarh MLA Mamta Devi, Barkagaon MLA Amba Prasad Mandu, MLA JP Patel and Hazaribagh Lok Sabha MP Jayant Sinha on Friday.

Interestingly, there was not a single banner of any political party in this entire protest.

These people alleged that when the public of Ramgarh face problems, whether it is due to electricity or the matter of changing the route of the Rajdhani express, MPs and MLAs have no care. Hence, the people of Ramgarh have come out on the road with the ‘missing’ board of their MLAs and MPs.

Anmol Singh, former vice-president of Ramgarh Cantonment Board, who led the crowd, said that the MP and MLAs are silent despite knowing the problems of the people of Ramgarh. The public will also observe silence against these MLAs and MP at the time of election.

Hindu Raksha Dal’s state president Deepak Mishra also joined the protest. He also announced a reward of Rs 500 to find these MLAs and the MP.

“How long will the people of Ramgarh keep running after their hollow promises? People here are facing problems due to electricity. Rajdhani express used to run from Ramgarh’s Barkakana Junction to Delhi, which has been changed to another route. The MLAs and MP at the time of election had promised us that they would help. Now, when the people are in trouble, they don’t care,” said Mishra.

People are forced to come on the road due to the inaction of these public representatives; there is disappointment among the people.  Now we have to see who will get a reward of Rs 500 or whether this news will reach the MLAs and MP and they themselves will take cognizance of this matter and remove the problems of the people of Ramgarh,” he added.
