Ranchi, Dec 31: BJP state president and MP Deepak Prakash has alleged the current government of gaining cheap popularity by confusing the figures of the scheme of subsidy of Rs 25 up to 10 litres in petrol to BPL families.

“60 lakh people in the state are under the purview of the Food Security Act, for whom this government is not able to ensure even the distribution of rice and wheat allotted by the central government. The news of black marketing was getting exposed every day. In such a situation, the intention of the government is only to create a ruckus in the state by bringing only 20 lakh two-wheeler holders under the purview of petrol subsidy,” Prakash said.

He further alleged that the inferior quality of Dhoti and saree is being provided to the poor. Money is lying in the treasury of the government, but this government does not want to give relief to the common man.

He questioned the government regarding the appointment of the unemployed in the state, loan wavier of the farmers and unemployment allowance.

“This government will not provide any relief to the people. This is the government to stop the welfare scheme running for the farmers. This is the government to stop the honour amount of the priest of the tribal society,” Prakash said.

“The daily life of the village poor farmer will become easier with the reduction in diesel prices. Therefore, the state government should bring relief to the common man by cutting the prices of diesel without any delay,” Prakash further added.
