New Delhi: The Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme has officially opened its registration process, inviting 1 crore young individuals to apply for this opportunity. Eligible candidates can submit their applications via the official website, pminternship.mca.gov.in, with the scheme offering attractive financial support and career-building opportunities.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the PM Internship Scheme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must have completed high school education.
- Should possess a certificate from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI), or hold a diploma from a Polytechnic Institute, or a degree such as BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, BBA, or BPharma.
- Must be between 21 and 24 years of age at the time of application.
- Students enrolled in online or distance learning programs are also eligible to apply.

There is no registration fee for applying. After completing the registration process, an automatically generated resume will be created for applicants, allowing them to apply for a minimum of five internship positions based on their preferences.
Stipend and Financial Support
Interns selected under the PM Internship Scheme will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000 throughout the 12-month program. The stipend is funded by Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) contributions, with ₹500 coming from the participating company and ₹4,500 provided by the government. Additionally, interns will receive a one-time grant of ₹6,000 to cover incidental expenses during the internship period.
