New Delhi, Sept 9: Today, from the G20 platform, PM Narendra Modi talked about the lack of trust in the world and presented the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ to the world leaders. He initiated the G20 Summit 2023. Interestingly, BHARAT was written on the nameplate of the country in front of Modi.
In his speech at the G20 Summit, Modi emphasized the significance of the 21st century in finding fresh approaches to age-old problems and urged for a human-centric strategy to tackle global issues.
In his opening remarks at the G20 Summit, which is taking place at the Bharat Mandapam in the capital, Prime Minister Modi stressed the importance of taking a human-centric approach to addressing global concerns and overcoming trust deficits brought on by conflicts.
“The 21st century is an important time to show the world a new direction. This is the time when old problems are seeking new solutions from us and that is why we should move ahead fulfilling our responsibilities with a human-centric approach,” he said.
Prime Minister Modi emphasized that the conflict in Ukraine has led to a lack of trust on the global stage and urged all the leaders at the G20 summit to collaborate and address this issue collectively.
“Today, as the president of G 20, India calls upon the world together to transform the global trust deficit into one of trust and reliance. This is the time for all of us to move together. In this time, the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’ can be the torchbearer for us,” PM Modi said.
He added, “Be it the divide between North and South, the distance between East and West, management of food and fuel, terrorism, cyber security, health, energy or water security, we will have to find a solid solution to this for future generations.”
