New Delhi, Sept 21: Comedian Raju Srivastava passed away today in Delhi today after being hospitalised at AIIMS for more than a month. He had an angioplasty the same day he passed out on August 10 while working out in the gym. Politicians from all over the nation have tweeted condolences for the veteran Comedian.
“Raju Srivastava brightened our lives with laughter, humour and positivity. He leaves us too soon but he will continue to live in the hearts of countless people thanks to his rich work over the years. His demise is saddening. Condolences to his family and admirers. Om Shanti,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in a tweet.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offered prayers on behalf of the people of Uttar Pradesh and said, “Raju Srivastava is no more with us. I, on behalf of the people of UP, pray that his soul rests in peace. I extend my condolences to his family.”
“Renowned comedian Raju Srivastava ji had a unique style, he impressed everyone with his amazing talent. His death is a great loss to the art world. I express my condolences to his family and fans,” tweeted Home Minister Amit Shah.
