New Delhi: On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended heartfelt greetings to educators across India, acknowledging their vital role in shaping the minds of the nation’s youth. He also paid tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the renowned scholar and former President of India, on his birth anniversary.
Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), PM Modi wrote, “Best wishes on #TeachersDay, an occasion to express gratitude to all teachers who shape young minds. Tributes to Dr. Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary.” His message highlighted the essential role teachers play as the architects of the country’s future.
Union Ministers Join in Paying Tribute
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also marked the occasion by extending his greetings to teachers and honouring Dr. Radhakrishnan. In his message, he stated, “Hearty greetings to all the teachers who guide the youth of the country and remove their ignorance. Respectful tributes to the eminent educationist, former President ‘Bharat Ratna’ Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan ji on his birth anniversary.”
Pradhan emphasized the profound impact teachers have on students’ lives, stating, “Teachers give us meaningful direction in our lives with their vast knowledge by introducing us not just to bookish knowledge but to the true meaning of life.
