New Delhi, March 13: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday presided over a high-level meeting to assess India’s security readiness and the current global landscape in light of the ongoing violence in Ukraine.
Since Russia launched its armed assault on Ukraine and India launched a large operation dubbed Operation Ganga to bring back its stranded residents from the war-torn countries, the Prime Minister has convened multiple high-level talks with Union ministries and senior officials.

The meeting was attended by defence minister Rajnath Singh, external affairs minister S Jaishankar and finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman among others, besides foreign secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla and national security advisor Ajit Doval.
