The newly hired individuals, who were selected from across the country, will serve in a range of central government roles, including junior engineers, loco pilots, technicians, inspectors, sub-inspectors, constables, stenographers, junior accountants, grameen dak sevak, Income Tax inspectors, teachers, nurses, and doctors, among others.

The PMO claims it is a step in achieving Modi’s promise to put employment creation first. According to reports, the ‘Rozgar Mela’ is expected to act as a catalyst for increasing employment creation and provide young people with worthwhile opportunities for empowerment and participation in national development.

This is the third tranche of ‘Rozgar Mela’. Earlier, the Prime Minister had distributed 71 thousand appointment letters to newly inducted government recruits in November and handed over 75 thousand appointments letters in October last year.
